Ron Duerkson Tampico, Mexico En Français Ron was born in Asuncion, Paraguay where he received his elementary education. Since then, his home has been Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada) where he attended high school and completed an Ecology (B.Sc. Honors) degree at the University of Manitoba. Ron's past work experiences include teaching, scientific research and national/international conference planning. He recently spent 5 months in Cali, Colombia working on a Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) funded project, involving South American biodiversity. He has published photographs in several countries and doubles as a freelance writer.

Ron est né à Asuncion au Paraguay où il est allé à l'école primaire. Après, il est déménagé à Winnipeg au Manitoba (Canada) où il est allé à l'école secondaire et où il a obtenu un diplôme en Écologie à la University of Manitoba.

Ron a enseigné, a fait de la recherche scientifique et a fait de la planification pour des conférence à l'échelle nationale et internationale. Il vient de passer 5 mois à Cali en Colombie où il a travaillé sur un projet financé par l'Agence canadienne de développement international (ACDI) qui traitait de la biodiversité en Amérique du Sud. Il a publié des photos dans plusieurs pays et il écrit aussi des textes à la pige.
