My name is Sarah Uy. I was born in Metro Manila, Philippines. Although my family lived comfortably in the Philippines, my mother still worried about our future welfare. Thus, she decided to migrate to Canada. My family and I now reside in Toronto.

I enjoy watching and participating in a variety of sports. My favorite sport to play is volleyball, but skating is the best one to watch. I am actively involved within my community through participating in several volunteer positions. In addition, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends through different outdoor expeditions such as fishing, camping and hiking. In the future, I wish to travel around the world and become completely immersed in each unique culture.
