The Young Men's Guyde (YMG) is a ground-breaking project that young men have produced for other young men. We are young men, and we plan to work with young men all over Canada in order to talk about and change some of the bad stuff that's goin' down around us... especially violence. We plan to make an impact on the barriers we face, particularly in the areas of violence and victimization.

The YMG is a fun-to-read, humorous and information filled resource. It isn't like anything you have seen before. It has been designed by you, for you and you (and a few hundred other guys) were the people who decided what needed to be said.

We hope that this publication will allow young men to share their own stories of violence and victimization, by giving them something that will encourage thought and provoke discussion. This is something that doesn't happen very often and we think that it's important that it does. We hope to give young Canadian men the resources and information to help deal with these important issues on a personal level and in a way that is relevant, meaningful.
